A man has been charged following an incident at a Travelodge hotel in Surrey.
George Ciprian Anitoaie, 33, has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and assault on an emergency worker according to Surrey Police.
Officers said this was after an incident at the Travelodge in Dorking in the early hours of Sunday, September 5.
Police attended the hotel shortly after 4am following initial reports of a noise disturbance.
Anitoaie, of Dorking, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Guildford Magisitrates Court this morning (Monday, September 6).
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "A 33 year-old man has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and assault on an emergency worker after an incident at the Travelodge in Dorking in the early hours of Sunday 5 September.
"George Ciprian Anitoaie, 33, of Dorking, has been remanded in custody overnight, and will appear at Guildford Magistrates Court this morning (6 September).
"Officers attended the Travelodge shortly after 4am following initial reports of a noise disturbance."
