Two men have appeared in court over the fatal stabbing of Kai Davis in Kingston last month.
Joseph Barker, 22, from Uxbridge, and Ben Myles, 22, from Southall, were charged with his murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
They appeared in court at the Old Bailey by video link from Wandsworth prison on Tuesday and spoke to confirm their identities.
Kai was reportedly chatting outside Pryzm in Clarence Street, Kingston, when he was attacked early on Saturday, August 21.
He ran off but collapsed around 200 metres away.
Kai was treated at the scene by first responders, but sadly died in hospital hours later from a stab wound to the heart.
Judge Anthony Leonard QC set a plea hearing for November 23 and remanded the defendants into custody.
DCI Kate Kieran, who headed the murder investigation, said last week: "We remain committed to bringing justice to Kai’s family. I can’t imagine how difficult this time must be for them and I thank them for their continued support as we progress all lines of enquiry.
"The Met is committed to tackling violence across London, but we cannot do it alone. I continue to appeal for information. There were a large number of people present when this happened and I urge those people to come forward. You may be able to help us significantly in our investigation."
