A “potentially fatal” batch of heroin is currently circulating in Woking and larger Surrey, according to police.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said they have been informed the batch is causing people to overdose and could result in fatalities.
The force is urging vigilance as they look into the incident and has asked anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police tweeted on Friday: “Surrey Police are aware of a potential ‘bad batch’ of heroin which could be circulating in the West of Surrey, in particular around Woking.
“We have been informed that this batch is causing / likely to cause users to overdose and could result in fatalities.
“We are looking in to this at present and would urge anyone with further information to get in touch with us.
