The driver of a Toyota from Dartford has been fined more than £3,000 after drink driving in Bexley.
William Heavey, of William Mundy Way in Dartford, was stopped while driving in Bexley High Street on January 8, 2022.
The 38-year-old was fined £3,275 for the offence during a hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on February 7, 2022.
This includes a £3,000 fine, £190 to fund victim services and costs of £85.
There was 84 microgrammes of alcohol in a sample of 100 millilitres of William’s breath - which exceeds the 35 micrograms limit.
He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.
His disqualification can be reduced by 36 weeks if he completes a course by March 30, 2024, which must be approved by the Secretary of State.
The fine for the offence was ordered to be paid by March 1, 2022.
