A man has been fined in court and disqualified from driving after driving on the hard shoulder of the M25 near Bexley.
Nathan Smith drove a Volkswagen on the hard shoulder of the M25 between junctions 2 and 3 near Bexley on September 10, 2021.
Smith, 30, was ordered to pay a £440 fine, £66 surcharge to victim services and costs of £100 for the offence.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months due to repeat offending.
This was decided during a single justice procedure hearing at Bromley Magistrates' Court on May 10, 2022.
Smith, of Corbetts Close in Guildford, was also found guilty of not wearing a seat belt while driving on the same road on the same day.
He was fined £220 for this offence.
The full balance of £826 was ordered to be paid by June 7, 2022.
