A man from Cheam has been arrested after a man exposed himself to two women outside a school in Epsom.
During the afternoon of September 23, a man exposed himself to two women while they were outside of Ewell Grove School.
The man then walked off towards Garbrand Walk.
The incident was reported to police and a suspect, a 25-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of exposure.
He was interviewed by officers and released on bail with the condition that he cannot go within 100 meters of any primary school in Surrey.
Surrey Police officers are now asking for any witnesses to the incident or any further information to come forward and contact them quoting crime reference number PR/45220102315.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “An arrest has been made following a suspicious incident on Friday afternoon (23 September), where a man has exposed himself to two adult females outside Ewell Grove School in Epsom.
“The man has then walked off towards Garbrand Walk.
“The matter was reported to police and a number of enquiries led to the suspect, 25 from Cheam, swiftly being identified and arrested on suspicion of exposure.
“He was interviewed and has been released with bail conditions not to go within 100 metres of a primary school in Surrey.”
Acting Inspector James Dawborn, Epsom Borough Commander, said: “We would like to reassure the community that we have launched a full and thorough investigation into this matter.
“Although he did not expose himself to schoolchildren, this took place in close proximity to a school and we recognise that this will be really concerning for local residents.
“Fortunately, on this occasion the man was identified and arrested quickly after the offence was reported and has been released with a specific bail condition not to go within 100 metres of a primary school in Surrey.
“We are continuing our enquiries but also need information from the public to help us to progress our investigation.
