A man in his 20s has died after a stabbing in Kingston.
The incident happened in Fairfield Road just before 10.20pm yesterday (October 13).
Police, London Ambulance Service Paramedics and an air ambulance attended. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are in the process of informing his next of kin.
An investigation has been launched following the incident and police enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 and quote reference 7902/13OCT22.
Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Shortly before 10.20pm on Thursday, 13 October police were called to Fairfield Road, Kingston following reports of a man in his twenties with stab injuries.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London air ambulance all attended, despite their best efforts the man died at the scene.
“Officers are in the process of informing his next of kin.
“An investigation is underway and local residents should expect to see an increased police presence in the area as enquiries continue.
“Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, giving the reference 7902/13OCT22.
“Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
