Police are appealing for help in identifying a man who might be able to assist with an investigation into a distraction burglary in Epsom.
The theft happened near to St Martin’s Parish Church in Epsom between 10am and 12pm on October 18.
The suspect claimed he was there to fix something when he entered the property and stole the victim’s watch when she was out of the room.
Those who recognise the man or have any information which could help the investigation should contact Surrey Police quoting PR/45220112142.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We’re appealing for help to identify a man who we believe may be able to assist with our investigation into a distraction burglary in Epsom on Tuesday, 18 October.
“The theft took place between 10am and 12 noon at an address near to St Martin’s Parish Church in Epsom.
“The suspect entered the property claiming he was there to fix something and stole the victim’s watch when she left the room.
