A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing on a bus in Carshalton.
Officers were called to reports of a man with a knife wound at a bus stop in Thornton Road at 10am today (February 7).
The man had reportedly left the scene on a bus before the arrival of police.
At 10.09am, police attended an incident on a 151 bus in Wrythe Lane and found a man with a knife injury to his hand.
It is believed that this was the same injured man from Thornton Road.
He was taken to a west London hospital for treatment.
His condition is currently unknown.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 10:03hrs on Tuesday, 7 February to reports of a man with a knife wound at a bus stop on Thornton Road in Carshalton.
“The man had already left the scene on a bus prior to police arrival.
“At 10:09hrs, police were called to reports of a man aboard a Route 151 at Wrythe Lane in Carshalton with a knife injury to the hand.
“Officers believe this was the same injured man from Thornton Road.
“Crime scenes are in place at both Thornton Road and Wrythe Lane.
“The injured man, aged in his 30s, was taken to a west London hospital. We await an update on his condition.
