A woman in her 60s has died after falling from Sainsbury's multi-storey car park in Redhill.
The woman fell from the London Road car park at 9.40am yesterday (March 14).
Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her next of kin are aware and enquiries to establish what happened are underway and remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s confirmed an incident had occurred at the Redhill store but provided no comment.
At this stage officers do not believe there was anyone else involved in the incident.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “At just after 9.40am yesterday morning (14 March) we were called to London Road, after a woman sadly died after falling from a multi-storey car park.
“The woman in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
“Her next of kin are aware and enquiries to establish what happened are underway and remain ongoing.
“At this stage we do not believe there to be any third party involvement.”
