The Queen has honoured a charity for the work it does sending volunteers into the homes of women with young children the help them learn English.
Learning English at Home (LEAH) nearly shut down last year when funding from the Big Lottery dried up.
Now it has been awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service - one of the highest awards that can be bestowed on an organisation and equivalent to an MBE.
Belgrade-born Sanja Kane, manager at LEAH, said: "It reflects 26 years of work, not just this year."
