A man has been taken to hospital following a crash in Epsom between a car and a pedestrian.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the crash, involving the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta, earlier today (Friday, September 22) at around 11am.
The crash occurred on Dorking Road, outside Epsom Hospital, and the road was closed as emergency services responded.
The road has now reopened.
Police ask that anyone with information or dashcam footage contact them quoting PR/45230106978.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following reports of a collision between the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian in Epsom earlier today (22 September).
“The collision occurred along Dorking Road, outside Epsom Hospital at around 11:30am.
“The road was closed whilst emergency services responded, but has now reopened.
“A 79 year old male was taken to hospital.
“If you were in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or have any information including dashcam footage which could help our investigation, please message us quoting PR/45230106978.
