A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Oxted.
The incident happened in Nunappleton Way at around 2.30pm yesterday (October 19).
Officers were called to the scene and found the teen injured.
He was taken to hospital for further treatment with serious injuries.
No arrests have been made following the incident.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “There is a currently a large police presence in Oxted after we received a report of a 17-year-old boy being stabbed.
“The incident occurred at around 2.30pm on Nunappleton Way, and the victim has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Enquiries to establish what happened are underway and the surrounding roads will be temporarily closed to facilitate this.
“Officers will be in the local area for reassurance, so please do talk to them if you are concerned or have any information.
“We are also appealing to anyone who has any dashcam or doorbell camera footage around the time of the assault, or any other information, to come forward quoting PR/45230118518 via DM.”
