Three people have been taken to hospital with one fighting for their life after a crash on the M25 last night.
Officers were called to a serious crash on the M25 just before midnight last night (February 8).
Emergency services attended the scene and three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The anticlockwise carriageway between Junction 8 and 7 was closed and two lanes currently remain closed while a damaged barrier is repaired.
Police are advising drivers to “plan ahead” and allow extra time for travel.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “Officers were called to a serious collision on the M25 just before midnight last night (Thursday, 8 February).
"Emergency services attended the scene and three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries, one of whom has sustained what are believed to be life-threatening injuries.
“The anticlockwise carriageway between Junction 8 and 7 was closed and two lanes currently remain closed while a damaged barrier is repaired. We know this is having a significant impact on many journeys and encourage drivers to allow extra time and plan ahead.”
