There’s no doubt about it, running the London Marathon is not for the faint-hearted.
With 26 miles across the capital, it takes months to train for, with a strict diet and training regime all in a bid to cross the finish line and take home an impressive medal.
But, there are more perks to running the marathon with the chance to get free meals from a range of restaurants throughout London.
Whether it’s a burger, pasta or pizza you’re after, there are plenty of places offering free food and drinks to London Marathon medallists.
Everywhere London Marathon runners can get free food and drinks
Bills
All London Bills are offering free burgers and beer on the day of the race, all you need to do is show off your 2024 medal or volunteer pass. It is advised to pre-book as there’s no doubt it will be busy.
Kebhouze
If you're after a free kebab you can get one for free from Kebhouze on April 21, plus supporters can get a 26% discount on the day with code RUN26.
Pastaio
If you know you'll be wanting some pasta after the marathon, then head to Pastaio for a free bowl of pasta on race day.
The Plumbers Arms, Belgravia
Runners wanting a free pint on the day of the London Marathon can head to The Plumbers Arms in Belgravia where runners can show their medal for a free drink.
SushiDogs
Nothing beats a bit of sushi and on the day of the marathon, runners can head to SushiDogs for free rolls, bowls or salads.
Hippodrome Casino
The iconic Hippodrome Casino is offering both steak and burgers for runners in the marathon. Heliot Steak House has a two-day deal for runners on April 21 and 22 where you can get an Argentinian Rib Eye Steak for free.
You can also get a free Claire Heliot Burger on the rooftop of the Casino on either April 21 or 22.
