Police are appealing for information after a man died after falling from a bridge on the M25 in Surrey.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Friday (April 19) at around 5:45pm after a man died after falling from a bridge.
The motorway was closed in both directions between J6 and J7.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Surrey Police say his death is thought to not be suspicious.
Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Drivers that were on the M25 between junction J6 and J7 or who were on Whitehill Lane, Bletchingley at the time of the incident, and who have information or dashcam footage, should contact Surrey Police online or by calling 101 quoting the reference SYP-20240419-0635.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for information after a man died after falling from a bridge on the M25 this evening (Friday, 19 April).
“Officers were called at around 5:45pm. The motorway was closed in both directions between junction 6 and 7.
“The man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances, but the death is not thought to be suspicious.
