A Metropolitan Police officer has been fired after making sexist posts on TikTok.

PC Daniel Naggea, who was attached to a unit covering Enfield and Haringey, was found to have created several offensive posts on the short form video app.

A misconduct hearing held today (July 16) found that PC Naggea had breached the standards expected of a serving police officer.

He has been dismissed without notice after being found to have committed gross misconduct.

His boss, Detective Chief Superintendent Caroline Haines, said: “PC Naggea’s posts on social media were both offensive and disrespectful.

“This behaviour is unacceptable. PC Naggea has fallen well below the standards we expect from our officers and it is only right that he has been dismissed from the Met.”

He will now be added to the ‘barred list’ held by the College of Policing.

Those appearing on the list cannot be employed by police and a number of related bodies.
