A historic pub in Kingston has reopened its doors following a stunning refurbishment, blending timeless pub charm with a modern twist.
Located near Richmond Park and Norbiton Station, The Albert pub is back with a new look and a fresh menu.
Inside, The Albert has undergone a stylish transformation, balancing traditional features like dark timber, gold accents, and arched windows with cosy nooks and soft lighting.
The pub offers semi-private spaces for groups, and a 150-seat outdoor terrace wraps around the front, creating a perfect spot to enjoy a pint, whatever the weather.
Led by General Manager Kerran Macklin, the pub promises to be a hub of community activity.
There are regular pub quizzes, vinyl music nights, and festive events making it the perfect place to unwind.
Under the helm of Head Chef Amit Nigam, The Albert showcases the best of seasonal British produce.
The menu offers hearty dishes like skate wing with butter and hazelnut, Shropshire chicken supreme with peppercorn sauce, and ox cheek poutine.
For vegetarians, there are options like the black beans and celeriac cassoulet is paired with chestnut dumplings.
Sunday Roasts are the real highlight, featuring West Country beef rump, Dingley Dell pork belly, and a vegetarian girolle mushroom and heritage squash pithivier.
The ultimate feast, however, is the Sunday Sharer—a venison shank with all the trimmings, designed for groups of four to six.
The Albert is open seven days a week from 11am. Whether you’re after a relaxed meal or a lively evening out, it’s time to rediscover this Kingston Hill favourite.
