A protester against the expansion of Heathrow Airport attempted to superglue himself to Gordon Brown yesterday.
Dan Glass, who is a member of the campaign group Plane Stupid, carried out the stunt as he was introduced to the Prime Minister during an awards ceremony at 10 Downing Street.
It is believed the 24-year-old student sneaked superglue into Downing Street in his underpants.
He was there to receive a Sheila McKecknie award which is given every year to hard working campaigners.
Plane Stupid have said that Downing Street has tried to play down what happened and will not be pressing charges.
The campaign group has described it as a "peaceful protest" and ensured that the glue would have no contact with the Prime Minister's skin.
The group's previous anti-expansion protest was carried out on top of the House of Commons where they dropped banners from the roof.
