Two men have denied the murder of a dad-of-five who was stabbed in the neck and run over in the street.
Steven Bates, 36, was found collapsed in Battersea just before midnight on February 14 this year.
He died at the scene in Tennyson Street.
A postmortem revealed Mr Bates, from Wandsworth, had suffered a fatal knife wound to the neck, but also injuries “consistent with being hit by a vehicle”.
His car was also found to have been damaged.
Three men, Terry Clark, 24, of Burns Road, Battersea, Lewis Clark, 21, of Mill House, Patmore Estate, Patmore Street, Wandsworth and Ian Jenkins, also 21, of St Philip Street, Wandsworth are charged with murder.
All three appeared at the Old Bailey on Thursday, and spoke to confirm their names.
Lewis Clark and Jenkins both pleaded not guilty.
Terry Clark did not enter a plea and will appear again on September 12.
The Recorder of London Judge Peter Beaumont QC set a trial date for February 2 next year, with the case expected to last up to four weeks.
All three were remanded in custody.
