Watching Liverpool win the European Champions League trophy was as good a buzz as winning the Young Enterprise Best Business Adviser title, as far as Edwina Hughes was concerned.
Edwina is due to be presented with an award in July, for her role helping a team from Tiffin Girls' School setting up their own company Shh.
The sixth formers' company produces and sells CD Roms, with advice on how to pass the 11 Plus exams.
Still high from last Wednesday night's football glory, the 43-year-old from Hampton Wick, who took part in the venture for the third year running, said: "The students and advisers get so much out of it. I enjoy getting involved in lots of businesses, was asked to do this and said yes.
"I provided the girls with motivation for the project. You go in as the adviser but end up learning so much from them.
"They were very inspiring, having decided to do an ICT project, they first had to teach themselves how to program.
"At one point one of the students and I were on the phone at midnight discussing the project. I might be 43 but I feel 20, so can relate to the students.
"I'd encourage others to get involved. Young Enterprise is a great scheme, but it's not something you can go into half-heartedly. It takes up a lot of your time."
The entrepreneur has a degree in economics and worked on the Discovery Channel.
She runs training consultancy firm Eddy and Co Ltd, in Glamorgan Road, Hampton Wick. The company works with a variety of small to medium enterprises, helping with business growth and mentoring.
The football fanatic met the PFA (Professional Footballers Association) last year and is working on projects to increase players life and language skills, for after they quit the game.
Shh is led by 17-year-old Alice-Lara Waterman from Tiffin Girls' School. The girls plan to continue running the project once their school exams are over.
The Young Enterprise scheme offers students the chance to run a company and learn about aspects of business from the first hand experience of volunteers.
The Best Business Adviser award is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
