Police have issued e-fit images of two men who stabbed another man four times in the back in Surbiton.
The victim, a white man in his early 30s, was attacked while cycling home through King Charles Road, Surbiton, at 6.20pm on Sunday, May 29.
He was crossing the bridge over the railway near the Lamberts Road when a verbal altercation with the two men descended into violence.
He was stabbed four times in the back and went into shock, but cycled home, collapsing on his front doorstep.
When his father removed his blood-soaked jumper he saw four stab wounds and called an ambulance to take him to Kingston Hospital.
No vital organs were damaged but the victim has been in constant pain and on medication ever since.
The first attacker has short dark hair, greying at the sides, and is about 6ft. He was wearing black jeans, a grey t-shirt and a navy blue hooded cardigan.
The second man was shorter, stocky, had cropped blond hair and wore a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
