Red Bull Racing driver Vitantonio Liuzzi was booed by Oceana clubbers following the Formula One fiasco in Indianapolis earlier this month.

Liuzzi was making a guest appearance for the Red Bull Roadshow on Wednesday, June 22, but when he was called up on stage he was greeted with loud booing from the crowd.

Only six drivers competed in the race because of safety fears.

And one clubgoer, from Chessington, thought Mr Liuzzi's reception was harsh.

Andrew Pearce, 20, said: "I felt sorry for him because he was a nice guy, really down to earth. It wasn't his fault. But it was good to see that he was mingling."
