Kingston Chamber of Commerce will host it's next networking breakfast American- style over doughnuts and coffee at the new Krispy Kreme "diner/drive thru" franchise at Shannon Corner.
The break with traditional bacon and eggs is part of a shake up of the chamber's events programme, following feedback and surveys of member's views.
Around 40 or more businesses are expected to attend and will hear from the Operations Team how the American-style doughnut bar has established itself in Britain.
There will be plenty of time to network too, while the informal atmosphere and chance to taste from around two dozen different doughnut varieties is sure to appeal.
The event kicks off at 8am and finishes at 9.30am on Monday July 4.
Business owners are welcome to bring brochures and flyers to showcase and present themselves in a 30 second introduction.
"As with most things, it's not what you know but who you know that makes a successful business.
"By getting owner managers to get to know one another better, we can really boost the local economy," says chief executive Lisa Gagliani.
Anyone is welcome. Members may bring guests at £10 plus vat each.
Places must be booked and paid for in advance by downloading the booking form from the website or calling 020 8481 0450 to make a credit card booking.
