Members of Kingston Area Travellers' Association (KATA) are furious that a bus route recently saved from the axe has been omitted from a Transport for London bus map.
The organisation is at a loss to understand how TfL managed to delete the K5 route from the new diagrammatic bus map displayed at Kingston bus stations in Cromwell Road and Fairfield.
The map, which was issued at the end of last month, omits the K5 between Kingston and Ham, which TfL had previously earmarked for closure.
Tony Adams, KATA chairman, said: "With so much effort by our association and residents to save all of bus route K5 from Ham to Morden, we are at a loss to understand how TfL managed to delete it from the new diagrammatic bus map, displayed at Kingston bus stations in Cromwell Road and Fairfield.
"We have asked London Buses to update this map as a matter of urgency, especially in the light of months of negative publicity as to whether the service would even continue."
A spokesman for TfL said the service was inadvertently omitted because at the time of planning the map, the K5 service between Ham and Kingston was scheduled to be cut.
Mr Adams said KATA was also concerned that people would not know when the service ran, because TfL had stopped issuing standard timetables.
He added: "The times on bus stops now only apply to that sole stop.
"This is particularly awkward for the hail and ride section of the K5 from Cromwell Road to Ham crossroads."
