Shania, who plays for Sutton and Epsom Girls Youth Rugby Team and attends a well known local Secondary School, represented the club with honours on the night of the Ladies Rugby England -v- Canada’s match on the 13th November 2013 which was held at the Stoop, Twickenham. Shania was the Team Mascot for the England Ladies Rugby Team. The England ladies was expected to win the match following their great win over France the previous weekend and they did not disappoint, they won 32-3 over Canada.
The Sutton and Epsom Girls Youth Rugby Team is facing their first tournament on 15th December 2013, since their Silver victory during the Surrey Youth Games last summer. The team was put together by Sutton and Epsom Rugby Club and Annette Thompson, the Team Manager, who believed in the girls and they have not failed to impress and are promising good wins in the future.
