In January this year you ran some articles and subsequent letters about a young man, Ernest Coleman, who was killed at the battle of Arras in the First World War (Relative of soldier calls for return of roll of honour 'forgotten' in archive, January 7)
My father, James Coleman King, is the grandson of Ernest's uncle ie Ernest's father was James Coleman who was the brother of my father's grandfather, Arthur.
I am currently visiting Arras and will be taking photographs of Ernest's memorial here.
The local museums are designing some memorials for the centenary of the battle of Arras and are looking for photographs of soldiers involved and would be very interested in Ernest's diaries.
