A group of Year 6 children went on an off-road adventure across Epsom Downs to Ashtead. The route obviously involved a lot of hills along with an intricate part through the trees on single tracks. We had to use all our ‘MTB’ skills to negotiate the tricky terrain such as low branches, tree stumps, roots, gulleys and mud!
The children took on the challenge with great gusto, arriving at the Bike Beans Cycle Café, Ashtead, tired, happy and very muddy! The children tucked into well-deserved hot chocolate and brownies.
“I was very proud of the tremendous effort of all the children.”
