This must be the longest "Long shot " ever! Back in the 1970s I was a police officer in North London and one night on patrol I helped a young lady who was trying to get home after snapping the heel off her shoe.
The young lady was named Pamela Jacobs and we became very close friends over the months, but I was married and Pamela was about to be married and was going to live in Epsom. I wonder, if you can run a little story about us she used to stay with friends in Station Road, Wood Green N22.
I am now a widower but would love to meet this lady again if at all possible, I have no idea of her married name or her marital position I am now retired and live on the East coast and it would make this man very happy to hear from her.
