Students from the Epsom Campus of the University for the Creative Arts will be marching with 15000 students from accross the country next Wednesday. It is to raise awareness to the UK about the issues facing the HE Sector.
With all the courses at UCA Epsom being Class C courses, it means that all courses will lose 100% of their government funding. This then leaves the tripled tuition fees to pay for all of the course, which not only has a massive impact on the institution, but the students and the quality of the education received.
With nearly 2000 students studying on the Epsom Campus, many of which move from all over the country and the world, this could have a massive impact on the local community and business.
Also to note, Epsom students will be outside Epsom Rail Station next Wednesday to raise awareness to the local community about the cuts. They will be there from 9.00am before getting a train to meet the other 15000 students marching across London.
