In theses days of cash straped businesses, isnt it beyond believe that Epsom and Ewell Council are allowing increased parking restrictions which directly affect hard-up businesses?? These new tighter restrictions are about to be pushed through on the nod without any proper feelings for businesses. It really is time to get rid of the Resident Association led Council, who do nothing to help th Boroughs RESIDENTS. New tighter restrictions are due for Pound Lane. Pound Lane has already lost 50% of its parking when the Council installed the stupid cycle lane which is never used. Another Road is Chalk Lane. The pub there and the Hotel are already suffering with insufficient parking. 3 pubs have closed in Epsom in just the last 3 months. I wont even mention the other new restrictions in residential roads where the parking hurts no-one but the NIMBY brigade !!, such as Leighton Way. So come Epsom and Ewell BC grow a backbone and do something for the Businesses and Residents of the Borough for once !
