Episode nine of this year's The Apprentice series was back with all the drama we expect from the boardroom.
The ninth episode saw seven candidates battle it out to win over Lord Alan Sugar and his aides, Baroness Karren Brady and first-ever The Apprentice winner Tim Campbell.
The candidates are hoping to win a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.
It's easy to take for granted the smooth sales patter we see on shopping channels. In reality it's not so easy when you go live on TV - as you'll see on tonight's @bbcapprentice. Super-confident candidates can suddenly become rabbits in headlights. #TheApprentice 9pm @BBCOne. pic.twitter.com/RL1MYYuptE

What happened in episode nine?
The candidates met Lord Sugar at Greenwich Market just after 5am.
The teams were asked to broadcast live on a leading shopping channel, selling a range of items before presenting and producing their own selling hour.
Aaron was keen to put himself forward for the project manager role, as was Brittany.
In the end, Brittany was voted in to lead Team Infinity and said it was her "childhood dream" to sell on a shopping channel.
Never seen anyone so enthusiastic about teleshopping 😂#TheApprentice

After promising Lord Sugar he would step up last week, Akshay put himself forward for PM on Team Diverse.
Harpreet and Akeem chose an inflatable flamingo, a six-piece bedding set and a solar owl light as their products.
The person who set that shot up is a genius. #TheApprentice pic.twitter.com/EIs51MW4Yo

For his team, Akshay chose a portable steamer, a massaging product and a snail wrinkle car sleeping mask.
It doesn't smell like snail. WTF? Do snails smell? #TheApprentice

Both teams went for a Tanzanite ring as their main product, but only Infinity won the bid from the seller, meaning Diverse was left with an air fryer as their star product.
Despite the product not being vegan, Kathryn said live on air it was and corrected herself by saying it was just 'friendly'.
It isnt not not vegan friendly #theapprentice

Team Diverse didn't sell enough products and found themselves in the boardroom facing Lord Sugar.
Who was fired?
Akshay, Kathryn and Stephanie found themselves in the boardroom again.
It was Akshay's sixth time in the boardroom and Lord Sugar wasn't impressed.
Lord Sugar said: "Akshay, there's no smoke without fire, you have lost eight out of nine tasks. My gut is telling me you're not for me. You're fired."
In the taxi after being fired, Akshay said: "The first I'm going to do when I get home is get back on my business, so many plans, so many ideas. It's time to scale up."
