Dean McCullough is a Radio 1 presenter and he’s swapped the recording booth for the jungle as he started his journey on I’m A Celebrity in November.
McCullough presents BBC Radio 1’s Pop Anthems and Early Breakfast shows and began his career as a volunteer at Wandsworth Radio.
He went on to present in the afternoon with Emma Goswell on LGBT+ radio station Gaydio.
On entering the jungle, the 32-year-old said: “I am terrified of everything and the more I think about being put in the ground with 50 snakes or getting those greenfly things that bite poured over me – well, there’s just no point thinking about it, as otherwise I won’t get on the plane.”
What is Dean McCullough’s net worth?
Reportedly, Dean McCullough’s net worth is around $1 million (around £790,000).
Dean has showcased his fears in the jungle already having been chosen to do two trials, involving critters, sand and water.
He was unable to complete one on his own but teamed up with fellow contestant GK Barry where the pair earned no stars for camp despite their efforts.
Melvin Odoom who is also a BBC Radio 1 presenter is another of Dean’s campmates.
He played various characters on the CBBC series Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow between 2002 and 2006.
He also appeared in the 2016 edition of Strictly Come Dancing where he was partnered with Janette Manrara. He was the first contestant to be eliminated.

Speaking about I’m A Celebrity, the 44-year-old said: “Ant and Dec will be there, I will get to meet some really cool and talented people and so I am trying to appreciate all of those positive aspects rather than think about lying in a coffin with creepy crawlies on my face, as I know that will freak me out.
“I am scared of everything.”
The latest series of I’m A Celebrity has a wide range of popular stars including McFly’s Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, Jane Moore, Oti Mabuse and Barry McGuigan to name a few.
