Corinthian-Casuals caused an upset on the South Coast on Tuesday night as a late Gabriel Odunaike strike gave the Tolworth side all three points against Bognor Regis Town.
Casuals soaked up prolonged periods of pressure before Odunaike powered home for the win in the 87th minute.
Manager James Bracken took to social media after, commenting “Heart, desire, work rate and organisation. That’s my kind of win.”
The match also saw the return to league action for Captain and goalkeeper Danny Bracken following an eight month lay-off through injury. Naturally, Bracken was delighted with the clean-sheet – the first away from home this season.
The win leaves Casuals in 14th with a game in hand over many of their Bostik League rivals. Bracken’s side make the short trip to Carshalton Athletic on Saturday.
